Where is winter?

According to reports in the newspaper (http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/628157/UK-basks-in-warm-festive-weather-but-narrowly-misses-record-hottest-December-day-ever ) we are having a very warm December and almost reached the hottest December day since records began.  Not a very good start to becoming acclimatised again to the cold.  We have had only one morning in my part of the UK where the temperature fell below 0C overnight this year.

I certainly can't remember a December so warm in the past 10 years.

What has been happening in your part of the world?  Are you also seeing higher winter temperatures than normal?

Let me know by posting a comment.

Where I live, the winter is not as harsh as your place. I do feel a milder winter as there were less frost in the morning so far this year compare with previous ones. Ironically, I haven't tried taking cold shower this winter yet.
